ESME stands for Elite Signature Mirror Events. The name was intentionally chosen to reflect both elevated event experiences and the elegance of Esmée, a French name associated with being esteemed or admired.

ESME was created because too many beautiful events were paired with photo booth setups that felt generic or disconnected from the celebration. We believe the photo experience should feel as thoughtfully designed as everything around it.

Most photo booths focus on props and volume. ESME focuses on design, atmosphere, and quality. Our setups are styled to complement your event so guests enjoy the experience and the photos feel elevated.

Every ESME booking includes the mirror booth, professional on-site support, setup and breakdown, prints and digital sharing options, and a smooth guest experience from start to finish.
Our Essentials Package is a refined mirror-only option for clients who already have their décor and event styling in place.
Our Signature Installations include added styling, curated design elements, and the elevated visual experience ESME is known for. Print and sharing formats may be adjusted throughout the event to keep the experience flowing smoothly and match the pace of the celebration.

ESME offers clear package pricing based on booking time and the experience selected. Clients can choose from our Essentials Package or one of our Signature Installations, with custom pricing available for corporate events, brand activations, and specialty requests.

Yes. Through Brandstitched, we design branded guest experiences that can include custom prints, signage, sponsor touchpoints, interactive moments, and standalone activations tailored to your audience and event objectives.

Yes. Our standard service zone includes many central San Diego areas such as Mission Bay, La Jolla, Point Loma, Downtown, and nearby neighborhoods. For farther locations within the county or beyond, a travel fee may apply depending on distance and logistics.

Most ESME experiences require a clear 10' x 10' area, which works well for waist-up and group photos. For full-length style portraits, we recommend additional depth so guests can be framed comfortably and photographed at their best.
Setup typically requires 60 to 90 minutes depending on parking access, load-in distance, venue layout, and the experience selected. Teardown is usually faster, though up to 60 minutes may be needed in some venues.
We coordinate all timing in advance and plan arrival so the experience is ready before guests begin arriving whenever possible.

ESME is designed primarily for indoor venues and fully covered, weather-protected environments with stable flooring and reliable power access.
Because wind, moisture, heat, and other outdoor conditions can affect equipment, lighting, and the overall guest experience, outdoor placements are reviewed on a case-by-case basis and may not be suitable.

ESME is designed as an open-room photo experience rather than a traditional booth tucked against a wall.
This allows the atmosphere, architecture, lighting, and visual details of the event to become part of the experience, creating portraits that feel natural, elevated, and uniquely connected to the moment.

ESME takes a more refined approach than the typical prop-table booth. Rather than oversized novelty props and cluttered tables, we focus on thoughtful styling that complements the event.
Tasteful hand-held accents, statement pieces, and curated elements are intentionally included to enhance the photos while keeping the overall look polished and elevated.

Clients that book the Essentials Package are hosts who want the ESME mirror experience while handling their own event styling, and will provide their own photo props, backdrops, and décor.
With our Signature Installations, everything is handled for you. To preserve the intended design of each setup, outside photo props and prop tables are not used within the ESME photo area. This allows every setup to remain polished, cohesive, and ready for guests to enjoy.
If you have a single curated prop or meaningful piece you would like incorporated, we’re happy to review it in advance.

We understand that plans can change. To reserve your event date, a non-refundable retainer is required.
If you need to cancel more than 14 days before the event, any payments made beyond the retainer will be refunded within 10 business days. Cancellations made within 14 days of the event are non-refundable, as your date has been fully reserved and preparations are already underway.
Full cancellation and refund details will be provided in your booking agreement.

If you need to cancel more than 30 days before your event, any payments made beyond the retainer will be refunded within 10 business days.
Cancellations made within 30 days of the event are non-refundable, as planning, coordination, and project preparations are already underway.
(Please note: This policy applies to Brandstitched creative services and custom projects only. ESME Mirror Photo Booth bookings follow a separate cancellation policy)
